Insert injection molding mold is a special type of injection mold. The insert mold is also a type of secondary molding mold (Other names: IMD, Insert mold, insert molding tooling, capsulation ) In the injection molding process of inserts, metal, ceramic, plastic and other materials are prepared in advance and placed in specific positions on the mold. Then, the molten plastic is injected into the mold cavity through an injection molding machine, and the plastic will wrap around the insert during the flow and cooling process, making it an integrated injection molded part with the plastic. 

The  injection over molding mold is a special injection molding technology. The over mold is also a type of secondary molding mold In the process of plastic injection molding, a material (usually referred to as "hard resin") is injected into a component as the substrate, and then a different layer of material (usually referred to as "soft resin") is injected onto its surface to achieve the combination of two materials on the same component.

A threaded injection mold is an automatic thread-removing injection mold.

"Threading" usually refers to a type of rotational demolding mechanism in the mold. During the injection molding process, some plastic products may have internal threads or require rotational demolding structural features. The threaded injection mold, through a specially designed threading mechanism, enables the relevant components of the mold to perform rotational motion when the injection is completed and the mold is opened, thereby smoothly removing the products with threads or requiring rotational demolding from the mold. This mold structure is relatively complex, with high design and manufacturing requirements, but it can meet the production needs of injection-molded products with special demolding requirements, improving production efficiency and product quality. 

Monochrome injection molding molds, Single-color Injection molds, are a common type of plastic injection molds. Their characteristic is that in a single injection process, they can only produce plastic products of a single color or material. This type of mold has a relatively simple structure and is usually composed of parts such as the cavity, core, gating system, and cooling system. Among them, the cavity and core parts form the appearance of the product. In plastic injection processing, Monochrome injection molding molds (Single-color Injection mold) are typically used in conjunction with injection molding machines. During the injection process, the molten plastic material is injected into the mold cavity through the injection molding machine. After cooling and solidification, single-color plastic products of the desired shape and size are obtained.
